As I’ve studied Korean for over seven years, I also know how it feels to be the student. It can be intimidating, even overwhelming. Because of this, I’ve developed tips and tricks that help any language learner feel more comfortable and confident.
Please help me help you! If you provide me with a topic or area of interest in advance, I’ll focus our lesson time on that. Please also let me know if there is a particular phrase, grammar structure, or situation in English that you find difficult so that I can develop sample sentences and activities for our lesson time.
If requests and details are not provided at least 24 hours in advance of our lesson, I cannot guarantee full preparation.My lessons & teaching style
If you’re a true beginner, I'll understand and respond to your questions in Korean; if you’re advanced, we'll perfect your pronunciation and even work on your writing skills. No matter your level, I’d love to help you be more confident and fluent in English.
While these online sessions are focused mainly on speaking, I am an excellent editor and would love to help you on any sort of writing in English, like blogs, presentations, essays, or even reports. Please provide your writing sample in advance if you would like our lesson to focus on writing-based English.

I have done about 40 sessions here at italki and 12 with Jamie as of today. I can confidently say she is one of the top class teachers. I always wanted to say this, but have been procrastinating just because I hate Jamie becoming too popular and having shorter time available for me. Haha. I hope other people who read this to go find some other teacher. I loooooove her notes on Google Docs and this will be the most powerful tool/asset for your future study after class. So....now please go look for some other teacher. Seriously.
