Hi there!
My name is Arran. I have been an English teacher in Japan for 12 years and I really enjoy living and working here!
I went to an international school in Spain as a teenager and I have really loved learning new languages and about different cultures since then. In addition to my native English language, I also speak Spanish and Japanese well, plus I am learning French and Dutch too, so I know first-hand how challenging learning a new language can be sometimes.
My hobbies include: learning languages, coding, bodybuilding, and rugby.Me as a Teacher
I have been a professional teacher of English for more than 12 years now, 11 of which have been in the local context of Japan. During these 11 years I have been able to teach a wide range of different students at the junior high school, senior high school, and at the university level. I also have lots of experience teaching adult learners too. My experience means that I really understand the typical problems that Japanese English-learners usually have.
I am about to complete my Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. With my teaching and academic experience I am sure I can help you fulfill your learning goals!My lessons & teaching style
