About Me

Hallo, hi, hola, salut, my name is Elisa and I am 31 years old. In my early 20ties I studied business law and worked afterwards for 2.5 years for an American investment company in the legal department. After the 2.5 years I quit my job and my apartment and started travelling around the world. Travelling is my passion and with this passion I discovered my love for nature and animals. I love travelling not only because of the diverse landscapes but also because I can connect to so many international people and get to know new cultures. My goal is to help people live in harmony with each other and nature, as well as help sustaining and regenerating nature.

Me as a Teacher

When I studied business law, I went to Spain for a one year on an university exchange. There I taught German to students in one-to-one lessons. It is very important for me that you feel comfortable with me and can be yourself. I want you to enjoy learning with me without any pressure and I want you feel free to talk, even with mistakes. I speak several languages and in many of them I make mistakes myself as I am native only in one. So I know how you feel. As I want to focus on conversations, I would like to ask you to contact me only if you have a minimum A2 level.

My lessons & teaching style

I would like to discuss the teaching structure with you together depending on your wishes and goals. I want to focus on different conversations as this is the most difficult but also most efficient part of learning a language, especially if you feel insecure. If you want, I would also give you materials like articles that you have interest in, for practicing the reading and pronunciation and give you a very little homework for practicing the writing. I would correct your text before our lesson and discuss the correction during the lesson.
