My name is Sisipho, I am from Johannesburg, South Africa. I would like to be an English tutor because I love teaching. I can help others improve their skills. It would give me joy and excitement to be given the opportunity to meet learners around the world. I have experience with improving students' grammar and spelling. I’ve been working with diverse learners of all levels. At my previous university I was a learning and writing consultant. Students emailed me their academic assignments and I would help them improve their grammar and make sure they avoid plagiarism, I also conducted workshops all with the aim of helping students achieve their academic goals.Me as a Teacher
I am open minded and tolerant of all values and traditions. Teaching is my hobby and I am very patient. I will encourage my students to ask questions, take risks and overcome the fear of making mistakes as this is part of the learning process. My goal as a teacher is to improve the students' skills. I have many topics of interest that we can talk about. I’m an outspoken person and a good listener. During our classes, I’ll pay attention to the students' issues/needs/difficulties and we will try and work on them together. I want the classroom to be a friendly environment where the student can feel like they have gained a friend.My lessons & teaching style
I can have conversational English with the students; we can talk about each other's hobbies, interests and cultures, anything they would like to talk about. I will also be focusing on articulation, pronunciation of words as well as grammar. I can help you prepare for your English test or exam such as the IELTS ExamMy teaching material
