I am a born and raised mexican, but when I was learning how to speak, my mother thought it would be a good idea for me to learn not just spanish but english as well. I've been bilingual my entire life and genuinely consider that the greatest gift I've ever gotten. I deeply believe empathy is how we can change the world, and what better way to be empathetic than to dive in in other cultures through language. Soy mexicano de nacimiento y de toda la vida, pero cuando era bebé y aprendía a hablar, mi mamá dedició que era buena idea que aprendiera no sólo español, sino inglés también. He sido bilingüe toda mi vida y considero ese el mejor regalo que alguien me ha dado.

Me as a Teacher

As a speaker of French and German as well, I've been fortunate enough to learn about methods of teaching languages, as well as a few tips and tricks. I can also assess to practice making perfect. We can start from where you want to or we can follow a conversation based approach. Como hablante también de francés y alemán, he tenido la fortuna de aprender sobre métodos de enseñanza de idiomas, así como algunos consejos y trucos. También puedo confirmar que la práctica hace al maestro. Podemos empezar desde donde tú decidas, o seguir un enfoque más conversacional.

My lessons & teaching style

I consider conversation to be the best way to understand and express yourself in any language, but theory is also heavily needed. I will push you to speak and make an effort to listen to the topics we learn in theory. However, I will be patient and allow you to go at your own pace, because no one wants to be unmotivated. Considero la conversación como la mejor manera de entender y expresarte en cualquier lenguaje, pero la teoría también es de suma importancia. Te voy a empujar a hablar y hacer el esfuerzo de escuchar los temas que aprendamos en teoría. No obstante, tendré paciencia y te permitiré ir a tu propio ritmo, porque a nadie le gusta sentirse desmotivado.
