About Me

My name is Valeria, I am 30 years old. I am Italian and I live in the northern part of Italy. I can speak English, Spanish and a little bit of German and Catalan. I've studied foreign languages and literature in University and I'vespent almost a year abroad – at first in Barcelona working for a tourism network and then in Sevilla to attend a master degree. I love travelling, cause I’m attracted by other cultures and places, but I have always been very fond of my country- that’s why I finally decided to stay in Italy. Currently I am working in the marketing field and I use foreign languages every day. I know how tough it is to learn a foreing language and to be successful in communication!

I am a patient, creative and enthusiastic person. As an Italian tutor, I wish to help you find your own way to put into practice the "know-how-to-do" with the language, starting from what you know about it. I will do my best to trigger your motivation, because I totally agree with the teaching method for which only "when you forget you are learning you learn".

My lessons & teaching style

Whether you are a beginner or want to improve your level, you will learn by doing in our classes. Whatever skill you would like to improve - speaking, writing, reading and listening - our lesson will be an opportunity to improve your language proficiency - vocabulary, grammar, idioms - only after you have practiced. In this way, proficiency and practice will improve together. You will also be able to choose which topics to cover in the lessons, either related to Italian culture or to topics of your interest! We can also develop a study plan together - a package of lessons designed around you to reach your goals.
