Hi! My name is Denisse Gotlib, I was born and raised in Mexico City, and moved to Madrid, Spain, 4 years ago. I studied Linguistics and Hispanic Literature at the National University in Mexico City, then a Master’s degree in Anthropology in Madrid and now I’m studying a PhD in Hispanic Literature in Madrid. I'm also a certified Spanish teacher. I speak English fluently.
Since I was a little child I was interested in the mystery of how language works and can have so many shades and meanings. Maybe that's why I love all forms of art, specially literature, music and cinema.Me as a Teacher
I have three years of experience giving face-to-face and online classes to students of different ages and levels. I can teach beginner students who need to learn from scratch or intermediate and advanced students who wish to improve their communication skills and to better understand cultural and linguistic practices in Latin America and Spain. I can help improve writing and comprehension abilities for university students or professionals who work with academic or highly specialized texts.

Although I follow an interactive pre-planned methodology, I always try to adapt my program and activities based on the interests and ways of learning of each student, which helps them achieve their goals while enjoying the learning process. I usually offer a syllabus and include systematic and organized materials for the student to be able to study and trace his own progress. If it's of the student liking, I can incorporate playful teaching aids to help ease interacting in a new language that can include songs, literature or films.My teaching material
