About Me

I am a friendly, outspoken and a fun individual who enjoys being creative and learning new things. I am well travelled, well spoken and i take advantage of every challenge i come cross. I enjoy singing on the Smule app on my free time because i get to meet and sing with different people from all over the world. I also love writing stories and poems when i feel inspired. When i am outdoors, i like taking walks, doing outdoor activities such as hiking, exercising, playing games or taking photos of nature. I watch a lot of travelling and cultural videos on YouTube most of the times because i enjoy learning and i always want to learn how to treat the next person.Me as a Teacher
I work in the hospitality industry and in customer service, so communication is key to me. From working with different people from different parts of the world, languages, accents and cultures, it takes patience and team work to be a good teacher that i am and i always aim to improve every situation. I am a very good listener, a confident all rounder, a creative who always thinks on his feet and i always take time to understand a situation before i can assist. My experience as a transcriptionist has also taught me to take note of every little detail, listen very carefully and the importance of punctuations and correct spellings.My lessons & teaching style
My focus as a community tutor on italki is to create a comfortable and free learning space with my students. I want my students to enjoy and be confident around the English language while learning but also to understand the diversity, personality and culture of the language. My lessons will be structured in a form of open conversations, communication and sharing general knowledge while correcting errors in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciations, punctuations and correcting spellings. I also will be personally creating learning materials, presentations and necessary tools specifically arranged to suit my students individual needs, suggestions, struggles, strengths and weaknesses.My teaching material
