I majored in Chinese at university， and now I'm studying English. So ,I know what kinds of difficulties students have. Also, I think the most important thing for foreigners to learn Korean is to follow Korean culture. I know well about Korean culture, so I can explain to Korean learners the words and expressions that young Koreans use a lot.
Me as a Teacher
I once taught Korean to my friends I met during language training. I introduced Korean and taught various expressions while exchanging languages.
I have experience in mentoring Chinese at university. It was an opportunity to learn that it was important to prepare a lot before class and lead classes by level.
My lessons & teaching style
For those who are learning Korean for the first time, I'm going to teach consonants and vowels first, and I will explain student the order of how to write Korean letter through screen sharing. In class, we will mainly use visual materials. After class, I'm going to give you homework so that you can practice writing with handouts attached. For those who can pre-talk, we will read short news articles or short sentences, share thoughts, discuss them, and correct any grammatical errors. My goal is to improve students understanding by using visual data regardless of beginner or advanced.
