Edgar Toledano

I made a request to him that we only speak in Spanish throughout the entire lesson with no English allowed because I feel that you absorb a language faster and retain information longer if you can only speak in the new language and don't have your native language as a crutch to fall back on. He was very accommodating with this request and was extremely patient in waiting to hear my sentences, even though my vocabulary is still very limited. He was very helpful in correcting my mistakes and offering me the right way to phrase the ideas I was trying to express. No matter how many times I messed up, he was still patient in teaching me Spanish. He was also very quick to get the general idea of what I was trying to say, even if my expression was incomplete or just flat out wrong. I highly recommend Edgar to other American-English speakers like me who are trying to learn Spanish.
