About Me

- I teach English to children and adults. - The lessons are based on the structures of the following textbooks: Raymond Murphy "English Grammar in Use" Oxford Word Skills Reading Challenge - My name is Tansel, however my students know me as Teacher Tansy. - I am fluent in Bulgarian and Turkish. - I love teaching English, because I know first hand how rewarding it is to know a different language. - In my free time, I enjoy playing my uke, knitting socks, crocheting, English paper piecing, metal stamping and trying different crafts. Me as a Teacher

BA in English TESOL Certified Business& Accounting Classes I have extensive experience of interacting (verbal and written) with a wide range of professionals, including managers, engineers, architects, financial experts, project managers, human resources professionals. I have plenty of experience teaching English as a Second Language and being a classroom teacher in traditional and online classrooms. I’ve started my education career teaching English as a Second language to children and adults in Bulgaria. After moving to the USA, I worked with refugees and immigrant children new to the country, in the Idaho public school system, making sure they learn English and become life-long learners.

My lessons & teaching style

- The lessons are based on the structures of the following textbooks: Raymond Murphy "English Grammar in Use" Oxford Word Skills Reading Challenge My lessons are engaging and tailored to your needs. I know you are busy, thus homework is optional. In my lessons I combine different activities and teaching prompts (pictures, questions, modelling). I work to instill confidence in my students to use their target language and build a positive trajectory for their lives.
