Hey there!
My name is Ina-Marie and I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in beautiful Hamburg, Germany.
My mother tongue is German but I started speaking English when I attended an English speaking kindergarten aged 5!
I learned French in highschool and ever since spending some months in Paris on a student exchange, I am pretty much fluent!
I have lived both in Canada and in Denmark and recently moved to Brussels, Belgium.
Here I am working in German, studying politics and journalism in English and live my daily life speaking French.
If I'm not teaching, working or studying, I enjoy spending my time traveling, spending time cooking with friends or swimming.Me as a Teacher
I have experience teaching English, German and French to students aged 8-18.
I understand the struggles that come with learning a new language- especially in the pandemic where it is not easy to do the "learning by doing"-method as easily!My lessons & teaching style
I am flexible when it comes to finding hours that work for the both of us. I am also free on weekends so don't hesitate to hit me up and I am sure we will find a schedule that works.
I really believe that actively engaging in a language is the best way to perfect it. Now that this isn't possible during the pandemic, I like to give as much of a natural feel to my lessons as possible.
If you have a certain grammar problem or struggle with specific sentence structures, we can focus on that as well. I also have fun quizzes and worksheets available for some more in depth learning. I have experience with homework, exams, job interviews and presentations in foreign languages as well!My teaching material
