About Me

I am Julien a 26 years old French guy born in Normandy. I've followed Computer Science studies and obtained my Master's degree after 2 years spent in China. After graduating I came back to France full of new memories and motivation to discover new cultures and people from all around the world. I've been working as a Software Engineer in the South of France, working in international companies which helped me to keep a good English level, really helpful to express myself and teach, even on technical subjects. I love to talk and share with people, exchanging about our differences, learning and always trying to improve.

Me as a Teacher

My years in China made me discover the importance of languages, but also the difficulties that people can experience while learning. It also made me love to exchange with people from all over the world, share experiences and knowledge. I've been trying and developping lots of different techniques in order to learn from different levels a language, from online flashcard websites, video reviewing or discussion with friends. I've been teaching French to several foreigner friends since I came back here in France 2 years ago, making them progress from total beginner to B1 level.

My lessons & teaching style

I can adapt to different categories and preferences of learning, some people prefer to learn with exemples, others with materials etc.. I am used and pretty good to work with whiteboard softwares online like Miro, where I can easily share and exchange with people on the materials I want to use, to take notes for my students, show them exemples and materialize explanations.
