Hi everyone! and welcome to my classroom. My name is Teacher B, and I am from Southern Africa. I am a Native English speaker with a neutral accent. My love for teaching started when I volunteered as an English tutor for children in primary and secondary school. Besides teaching, I enjoy learning new languages and expanding my knowledge through reading and creative writing. My hobbies include painting, watching movies, and cooking. My strengths include being able to adapt to different situations, thinking on my feet, and working well in a group and individually. I am determined, charismatic and goal-driven.Me as a Teacher
I am passionate, relatable, and creative. This reflects on my teaching approach which is youthful and refreshing. My students can expect a fun learning environment that priorities the comfort of my students whilst encouraging them to breakthrough their comfort zone. I am approachable and friendly and my students can benefit from my dependable and warm nature. I am also prompt and very detail-orientated and take lesson planning and preparation seriously. The motto for my classroom is to, "have fun whilst learning".My lessons & teaching style
My lessons and teaching style are interactive and engaging. I use everyday situations and scenarios to engage my students in a conversational teaching style. My priority is to ensure that my students' transition from the classroom to everyday engagement is comfortable. Learning a language can be daunting and cause anxiety therefore, by creating an environment that is friendly and informal to an extent, I intend to help my students feel comfortable. Different students will learn differently and that is why I create lesson plans that cater to the personal needs of my students whilst taking into consideration their interests, likes and dislikes.My teaching material

Bachelor's - LawI studied a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Law. English is a compulsory core module for first and second year. Learning English at tertiary level afforded me extensive knowledge and skills in English Literature and creative writing.
