I am a professional and enthusiastic teacher of Russian as a foreign language, English, and History. I have been privately teaching children and adults (both groups and individual students) for 8 years. I love what I do and I do it well. I am a native speaker of Russian, fluent in English, and can speak basic Spanish. In my lessons, we normally begin to speak Russian right after we meet. The aspects we focus on mainly depend on your goals and the level of language we start with.My lessons & teaching style
Generally, a full course of Russian includes developing four basic skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) to a certain level as well as acquiring grammar and vocabulary. But my courses are flexible and easily adjustable to personal needs.
I use the communicative approach to teaching. This means we work with possible real-life situations as a source of grammatical structures, functional language, and vocabulary items, which helps to avoid learning pure grammar from old textbooks and getting bored while cramming topical wordlists. In our lessons, we solve communication problems and complete challenging tasks in modern-life Russian after just a few lessons.Education
