My name is Morgane, I am 32 years old and I am a Cambridge certified English teacher as a foreign language. I am originally from Belgium, however I moved to the UK over 12 years ago and am fully bilingual English/French now. I have always been fascinated with the English language - one of my big dreams growing up was also to be a singer and it felt absolutely crucial to learn the language and its pronunciation as best as I could.
It is in Brighton that I got a BA in Professional Musicianship/Vocals and soon after my Cambridge teaching certification.
I am passionate about music, travelling, hiking, arts & crafts (printmaking, woodworking, knitting…) and am a trained picture framer!Me as a Teacher
I like to have a relaxed approach in the classroom and to let our conversations take us places we wouldn’t have thought of if we’d followed a strict curriculum. I encourage students to embrace mistakes - it’s by doing mistakes that we learn! The learning process shall be fun too! :)
I have taught students from around the world - I love making new connections and learning about other cultures. Most students I teach are of an intermediate-advanced level. They generally contact me as they wish to practise their speaking and pronunciation in a safe and non-judgemental environment.My lessons & teaching style

My aim with these sessions is to create a safe space for you to explore the language by using new vocabulary without judgement. I have a relaxed approach in the classroom and I like to focus on speaking practice as much as possible. I also always have a topic ready for each conversation practice (a video, an article,..) to help drive the conversation.
I create all of my lessons on PowerPoint and share my screen with you in the classroom. You get the slides and potential useful links sent to you at the end of the lesson.My teaching material
