Hi, future Spanish speakers. My name is Jorge Rodríguez, and I am 26 years old. I am Mexican. I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, but I am currently living in the United States, in California. I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish, and I am planning to get my teaching credential soon. I love learning about my mother tongue, its history, and evolution. I really enjoy traveling and getting to know different cultures. I speak English, Portuguese at an intermediate level, and I am currently studying Italian. Music, movies are one of my favorite activities. I really like to meet new people, to exchange opinions.Me as a Teacher
I feel passionate and excited to help others to learn my native language. I really enjoy teaching intermediate level. Learning a new language offers opportunities to connect with more people, to grow professionally. I consider that people should not feel intimidated by new conjugations and rules of a new language. For this reason, I always make my classes fun and relaxed. Making mistakes is part of the learning process, they help us to identify where we need to improve. My mission as a teacher is to make you feel comfortable in your new language, to help you discover that learning a new language does not have to be a stressful activity.My lessons & teaching style
