Hi, nice to meet you! My name is Fabian. I was born in Germany but I grew up in Zwolle, The Netherlands. I have a Dutch dad and an Indonesian mom, so I was raised speaking Dutch and partly Bahasa Indonesia. I have a background in the Hotel industry, I love meeting new people from different countries and learning about other cultures, that's why I decided to work in the Hospitality branche. I am currently living and studying in Bali and still improving my Indonesian. I enjoy traveling, working out, meditation and spirituality.Me as a Teacher
I would describe myself as a social and very open minded person and I believe that we can all learn from each other. I am also very patient, and helping others makes me happy. I'm very openminded and not judgemental. I will try to make our lessons as fun as possible, just see me as your friend. My goal is to make you feel comfortable during our class and certainly don't be scared to make any. mistakes.My lessons & teaching style
I believe that the best way to learn a new language is with lots of communication practice and (in)formal conversations. That's why we will focus on speaking skills during my class, I can help perfecting pronunciations, improve your vocabulary, reading and listening skills. We can talk about anything that you're passionate about or any topic that interests you, I will give you feedback at the end of our lessons, and we will discuss your points of improvement.

REST OF REVIEW: I love scheduling my classes ahead of time and not having to go through 5 separate payment transactions. It is nice having the flexibility to schedule two 30-minute lessons when I want a 1 hour lesson. Fabian has a pleasant manner of speaking and time goes quickly. He corrects and explains when necessary. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND a trial lesson with Fabian and am confident you will not regret the time spent. 😊👍🏽

FABIAN IS AN EXCELLENT TEACHER! As a native English speaker I wanted to improve my conversational Dutch. From where I live the Netherlands is 7 hours ahead so it was a challenge finding a teacher available during my evenings when I wanted to take lessons. I chose Fabian because he offers availability during my nights and on top of that I can buy a 5 class package at a reasonable price. I love scheduling my classes ahead of time and not having to go through 5 separate transactions to do so.
Right away I found Fabian to be kind, polite, and engaging. It's like speaking with an old friend so before I knew it our 30 minute lesson was over. Fortunately with the package purchase I already scheduled my following lessons and look forward to them.
In short, you won't regret booking a Dutch conversation lesson with Fabian and I highly recommend at least a trial lesson.
