About Me

Hi, my name is Arian! I am from Tehran, Iran and I currently live in Turkey. I have a lot of experience working with people of international backgrounds. I am a native Persian speaker and I speak fluent English on a regular basis in my daily life and with my family. I have been teaching English for 2 years and Persian for 3 years. I studied Persian literature and Economics and Business Management, but my passions are acting, theater and music. I rap in both Persian and English, and I have a Certificate of Acting. I love swimming, nature, history, and astronomy. I have experience working for a music studio, as well as in finance and customer service.

Me as a Teacher

My classes are student centered and I use positive correction techniques to encourage my students to speak. I focus on my student's conversational skills and on building vocabulary. I speak Persian with the standard Persian accent (Tehran accent) and I speak English with a clear American accent. I absolutely love talking and learning about different cultures and languages all around the world, and their linguistic ties. I’m looking forward to meeting new students and getting to know you!

My lessons & teaching style

I offer conversation, vocabulary, and pronunciation lessons in Persian as well as English. I make sure my classes are fun and entertaining, covering cultural topics in addition to my student's daily life. I like to bring in outside resources such as video clips, poetry, articles and music. My lessons are personalized for each and every student and I encourage feedback. I teach my students how to communicate in everyday life and give them colloquial speaking tips.
