I have diploma in Arabic and master in English with 14 years of experience in person and online as well. If you choose me, we'll study the Arabic accent and standard Arabic if you decide as slang, colloquial expressions, and behaviors! The class was Amazing. I recommend booking a lesson with Mushtaq. He is good teacher that is considerate of your needs and level. I recomend italki to learn any new language, especially Arabic. I'm focusing on learning the iraqi dialect of Arabic and Mushtaq is a great help because he is a native speaker. I love learning languages. This platform is amazing and fun. I recommend you to take class with Mushtaq and to meet with him on italki applications for any language you want to learn. Thank you for another great class.

DO NOT BOOK!! This teacher is so rude and disrespectful. I said that I need Arabic for my work, I mainly deal with Saudis and Qataris and he told me “Saudis and Qataris wouldn’t like you because you’re not wearing a hijab or covered up” I mean… wow. Furthermore, his audio quality and camera quality and internet speed is terrible. He sent me disgusting messages afterwards accusing my of being closed minded lmao. As for his teaching style I told him I wanted to focus on reading. Bearing in mind I told him at the beginning of the lesson I was very familiar with the alphabet already. When I said “Reading” I meant reading something and learning its meaning while simultaneously learning the pronunciation. He has me reading jibberish. Literal jibberish words that make no sense for over 20 minutes only to tell me “yes you can read”. He also spends the first 20 minutes of the lesson just talking about your life and not teaching you any Arabic. Lol. He is a sham. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

Mushtaq was great during my first lesson. He was very patient and attentive during our introduction session. I appreciated how he took the time to correct my speaking and pronunciation. I also learned a bit of Iraqi dialect and hope to learn more with him in the future.
