HELLO ITALKI STUDENTS! My name is Lovely and I am from the Philippines. I`m a freelance artist and TEFL certified teacher. I love painting, reading books, watching movies and learning new languages. I also enjoy hiking and travelling to local attractions like beaches. I'm not just a teacher of language, I'm also a student. I have been studying the Korean and Japanese languages so I understand what learners need from their teacher in order to be successful.

Me as a Teacher

I offer lessons about English / Filipino grammar rules and conversational practices in my class. As a teacher, I am patient and flexible. I want my students to be comfortable with me while learning, so I always make sure that my classes are fun, easy, and engaging. The best way to learn a language is to put it into practice, so I encourage my students to speak more in class. Don`t worry, I`m here to help you.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons always depend on the student's needs and levels. We can have free conversations about a lot of topics. I include grammar, reading and listening exercises, too. Just tell me about your goals and we can start from there. If I have to repeat the lesson, just to make sure that my student understands and absorbs something, I am willing to do it. I will do my best to help you improve your communication skills and be more confident.
