About Me

Hello ! My name is Zeineb HMIDI, I am 26 years old from Tunisia. I studied in a bilingual school system and I obtained the Tunisian and the French baccalaureate and graduated afterwards from the University of Dentistry of Tunisia. I have a very good command of Arabic, French and English. One thing about me is that I am very dynamic and I always want to go on adventures but the biggest challenge for me is that a year ago I've decided to move to Germany to obtain my Recognition there. I didn't let the language barriere stop me so I studied German and here I am at the start of my Journey in Germany.

The most important thing for me is that you feel comfortable with me. I encourage you to speak even with mistakes. We start by finding out your level and then we start the lessons according to your needs and wishes. We will have lots of discussions together on topics that interest you to boost your confidence and to let you speak more often. Regardless of your level you are welcome to join my session to learn and improve with me.

My lessons & teaching style

The teaching method I use is the active method. The learner is involved in the construction of his or her learning process by carrying out tasks directly related to real-life situations. The first session is an evaluation session. My lessons are based on audio-visual and text-based materials and are built around three phases : - Understanding of the material through an oral exchange. - The study of the language through various exercises. - A written production. I would also give you some homework so that you practice your writing and discuss your production the next session.

I am so happy to have found Zaineb on Italki. She is the perfect conversation partner in French. She offers really thoughtful advice and corrections to help me to sound more fluent, and is also very good at explaining points of French grammar and sentence structure. My French has apparently already improved even though it's only been 2 weeks :)
