My name is Danil. I am a bilingual person, my mom is Russian, and my dad is from the Netherlands, and I lived in both countries for more than 10 years, so I speak both languages, Russian and Dutch at a native level. I also studied English at a C1 level, so I can easily explain a lot of things in English. For the last 2 years I have studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technische Universiteit Delft, but this year I wanted to try something new and share my knowledge as a teacher.
I like to play chess and go out with friends. I have a good computer with perfect internet, so besides teaching I can play some games. I really like to watch films, series and anime.Me as a Teacher
I have worked on other platforms, but this is my first experience on Italki. I like to share my knowledge of the language and the culture with other people. I'm very flexible and open to new things, new ways to improve myself as a teacher. I am ready to put a lot of effort into my work to get good results.My lessons & teaching style
As for the way the classes are organized, it is very easy. We can do many different things together. It all depends on what you already know and what goals you want to achieve in the future. For example, we can do small talks but also discuss difficult topics where I correct you, and write out mistakes in the chat. But if you want to learn to write better with the help of the right grammar or if you want to analyze texts by reading intensively, that is certainly also possible. I need to know your goals and the deadlines for which you want to achieve them. Therefore, during the trial lesson, when we get to know each other better, we will discuss all this and come up with the best plan for youMy teaching material
