Irina Bolshakova

Irina‘s ability to motivate and guide me through the strenuous process of improving my Russian is remarkable. Her advice and encouragement help me greatly to focus on making gradual progress every day and to stay patient in the face of my still rather rudimentary language skills. I would strongly recommend her to anyone striving to level up their Russian if it wasn’t for the fact that I hate the idea of other learners taking up all of her time. ;)

Are you looking for a teacher who can introduce you to the Russian language in a goal-oriented way but still with a lot of patience? - Then you too will be delighted with Irina. Her lessons are impeccably prepared. And what is particularly motivating is her commitment, which can be felt everywhere.

This was a good solid lesson where Irina was very patient as I made a bad start to the lesson (my opinion), but she helped me grow in confidence. The only reason why we didn't go into depths about aims and plans is because I wouldn't shut up and it was a bit unnerving being upside down on Zoom:)

My level of Russian has seen a dramatic boost since I’ve been taking lessons with Irina. She’s always well prepared and open to whatever topic suggestions I may come up with.
