Hi, my name is Dana and I’m from a small village in rural Germany. I love languages and grammar and I hope I can pass on a bit of that passion to you. I am currently living in Birmingham, UK, where I am doing my PhD in linguistics.
I am an outgoing person, who loves music, reading, theatre and traveling, but I am also happy to just watch a movie at home.Me as a Teacher
My goal is to offer German and English lessons where you can apply what you already know, but can also advance your language. I want the lessons to be a safe space for exploring the language and get you talking! Having learned (and still learning) Finnish, I know how hard it can be and I hope we can turn learning into fun!
I offer conversational lessons, but if you’d like we can also include grammar and specific exercises. The idea is for you to reach your personal language goal and I am happy to help with that.My lessons & teaching style
I want to teach through conversation, so the idea is for you to talk and explore the language and I’ll help you get there.
In our first lesson together we’ll discuss what you’d like to achieve, how you usually learn best and how I can help with getting you to your personal goal. We’ll also get to know each other and make a plan of how to go forward.My teaching material
