About Me

My name is Roya, I'm originally Persian and it's my native language. my main passion is learning, and I found out that I enjoy sharing it by teaching stuff to people including English and Farsi languages. I started this experience by teaching children and young teenagers which really changed me in a good way. I am TESOL certified teacher and I have a bachelor of software engineering. I have about a year of working experience teaching English in Iran, Turkey, and online. I love learning different languages and cultures. I'm a gamer and I love talking about games, technology, animals, handmade arts, and aliens!

Me as a Teacher

I am patient, self-motivated, and hard-working. I like exploring new techniques in teaching and I am not strict. I always make sure to accommodate my students so that they can achieve their goals with the English language and get good results. I try my best to make lessons fun and rememberable by using games and bringing interesting subjects into conversations. Kindly expect me to ask you questions during the lessons. After lessons, I try to send you feedback.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons are mostly adaptable to your own requests. I mostly use the TPR method which means a - Total physical response, by using virtual tools or doing body language structure to elaborate words using pictures. My lessons are fun I use different methods and games, to help in different aspects for example grammar, reading, refreshing English speaking, and vocabulary.

Had a very nice Persian conversation lesson with Roya. She made me talk a lot, was very easy to understand after she adjusted her talking speed to my skill level, and while keeping the conversation fluent corrected some of my probably numerous errors. Thank you for the lesson!
