Hi! I'm Paula, I'm from Manizales, Colombia, a beautiful city in the Andes mountains. I currentlly live in the USA, where I moved to for my university studies. But I am always going back to Colombia whenever I get the chance.
When I was 15 I had the opportunity of studying in Burnaby (Canada). Then I came back to Colombia and graduated from a bilingual school, where I got my American high-school diploma.
I love teaching and learning new languages. Besides english and spanish, I know italian and I'm currently learning french.
I have a lot of hobbies, those including, yoga, dance (hip hop), painting on oil, drawing, swimming, music (mostly piano), traveling and of course teaching.Me as a Teacher
I’ve had the opportunity of teaching kids in Colombia on different subjects. I am very patient and I try my best at understanding my students needs and skills.
I've worked as an english teacher for adults and kids. I also volunteered as piano teacher for kids.
I encourage you all to continue discovering the language you are learning outside of classMy lessons & teaching style
My classes are dynamic. But more importantly I adapt to my students needs, so feel completely free to tell me if there's something specific you want to work on.

I've taken several Spanish lessons with Paula on and off over the past two years. She's very good at picking up on your level and providing materials that are interesting and help you practice at your level. I would highly recommend her as a Spanish teacher.

Wonderful lessons, this is a highly intelligent teacher who knows how to teach both Spanish and English exceptionally well. Paula is both patient and supportive. She provides a great mix of listening, speaking and practical learning activities. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning :)
