Hi, I'm Martin, born and still living in Germany. Living in the countryside at a huge lake in the middle of an national park. As a retired airline pilot with base in Berlin, I always enjoyed having the best of both worlds. The city of Berlin with all the cultural opportunities, with bars, restaurants etc. and on the other hand pure nature with lots of water, huge forests and the chance of going hiking with my beloved woman and our dog Sam. Now I'm working on my self made art, some social projects an I would love to support anybody who is interested to learn German.

Me as a Teacher

Since I was working, just from the beginning of my career, with many different people from all over the world, most of them with perfect English, we tried always to help each other with the other language. Very often we decided in the morning, it will be a german speaking day, or vice versa an english speaking day. Sometimes we switched in between and nobody noticed. ;) It was just talking, having a conversation far away from the typical school english or german with hints and little well meant corrections. For me it is the perfect way of having practice in other languages, no fears of saying something wrong, no grades at all, just having a good and funny time.

My lessons & teaching style

By the way, I'm speaking high german, no dialect at all. During our lesson the focus is just on you. We will speak about whatever you are interested in. I'm very flexible and will always have in mind... it's your time. Surely I am going to ask questions and will reply yours. In any case you will learn new vocabulary the right pronunciation and the basic grammar. My offer is a 50 minutes lesson, beginning at the full hour and having a joyful and interesting time with each other.
