In today's lesson we started learning short forms. I'm so grateful that Ruri presented the lesson with her power points. There are quite a few conjugations to remember but she explained them perfectly. During the practice exercise she was very patient and encouraging. I feel so supported to continue learning.

Wonderful lesson as always!! We had lots of laughs and I learned a lot of ways to express the "ga" particle properly!! Thank you for the lesson as always sensei!! ^_^

Thank you for everything so far, Ruri sensei. I always look forward to each lesson, 楽しみです、although I am busy a lot of the time, I will continue to practice.

Ruri先生 always comes to our lessons prepared and is so great at explaining things in a way that makes sense. Today, we covered some grammar from Lesson 8 of Genki 1. I can honestly say that she offered one of the best explanations of the が particle that I've heard. I am really looking forward to our next lesson so that I can continue learning the nuances that I feel have been so hard to grasp on my own.

Classes with Ruri 先生 always feel really rewarding because I feel like I am always applying what I'm learning. As I've spent more time in classes with her, I feel like I'm able to keep building on the things that I'm learning and able to more easily and more naturally express myself. She always is giving me good feedback in understanding how native speakers use different phrases and grammar, something I definitely wouldn't get from a book alone. I always have a great time learning from her and being able to speak Japanese with her.
