✦ Hi, everyone! My name is Maria and I'm Brazilian-Italian. I've recently moved to Bergamo after living in Calabria for some years. I've been teaching English and Portuguese professionally for 11 years, but since moving to Italy I've fallen in love with the language and culture so I've decided to share this passion of mine. ✦ Ciao a tutti! Mi chiamo Maria e sono italo-brasiliana. Mi sono trasferita da poco a Bergamo dopo aver vissuto per alcuni anni in Calabria. Insegno inglese e portoghese professionalmente da 11 anni, ma da quando mi sono trasferita in Italia mi sono innamorata della lingua e della cultura quindi ho deciso di condividere questa mia passione.

Me as a Teacher

I'm a very patient and encouraging teacher and I love what I do. Being a language learner myself, I know how it feels to learn a second language so I'll do my very best to boost your confidence when speaking Italian and motivate you on this journey. Sono un'insegnante molto paziente e incoraggiante e amo quello che faccio. Siccome anch'io studio le lingue, so come ci si sente ad imparare una seconda lingua, quindi farò del mio meglio per aumentare la tua sicurezza quando parli italiano e motivarti in questo viaggio.

My lessons are flexible and focused on your needs and learning style. I like to get familiar with my students and their interests. This helps create a better rapport and I can choose topics and extra materials for our lessons in a more accurate way. Le mie lezioni sono flessibili e focalizzate sulle tue esigenze e sul tuo stile di apprendimento. Mi piace conoscere i miei studenti e i loro interessi. Questo aiuta a creare un rapporto migliore e posso scegliere argomenti e materiali extra per le nostre lezioni in modo più accurato.
