Hi! My name is Lucy, I'm 25 years old and I am from Cambridge in the United Kingdom (which means I have an easy to understand and neutral British accent - perfect for learning English)! I love to travel and learn about different cultures - if I could, I would visit every country in the world! In my spare time, you can usually find me with my head in a good book, writing poetry in my notebook or cooking something delicious in the kitchen. Just like most people, I also enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.

Me as a Teacher

I am currently learning Spanish myself, which means I understand how difficult it can be to learn a foreign language. As a Teacher, I try my very best to make sure all my students are comfortable - I would describe myself as being very patient and have the skills to adapt my lessons according to the needs of my student. I want all my students to leave my lessons feeling as though not only have they learnt some new skills, but also that they have enjoyed it and will look forward to the next lesson. Learning English is supposed to be fun!

My lessons & teaching style

I offer conversational English classes - if you want to learn how to speak like a native English Speaker, you have come to the right place! I prefer a more organic teaching style - that is, conversation to flow naturally and cover a variety of different topics (such as travel, lifestyle, morning routine, family, culture, food, hobbies and so on). Of course, if there is something you would like to talk about in particular, I can tailor my lessons around that too! I will write down and send you new vocabulary covered in the lesson, as well as highlight any errors made. Although, please note that my lessons are primarily for conversation and listening practice. Let's get started!
