While I am from New York City, I have lived and worked in many countries. I have a PhD in literature and am a Fulbright Scholar. I am a writer, fascinated by language and culture. I am also a musician and love all genres of music. Anche se sono nata e cresciuta nella Citta' di New York, ho vissuto e lavorato in molti paesi. Ho un dottorato in letteratura e sono un Fulbright Scholar. Sono inoltre una scrittice, affascinata da lingue e culture di tutto il mondo. Soy de la ciudad de Nueva York, pero he vivido y trabajado en muchos países. Tengo un doctorado en literatura y soy becaria Fulbright. Soy escritora, encantada por los idiomas y la cultura.

Me as a Teacher

I have been teaching English for 40 years - all levels, all ages, from elementary school through graduate school, assisting academic as well as artistic projects. For the last two years, I have been teaching online, both private lessons and groups. I homeschooled my two children beginning in elementary school through high school. Sono quarant'anni che insegno inglese. Ho lavorato con studenti di tutti i livelli ed eta', la scuola elementare fino al dottorato, con progetti di carattere accedemico e artistico. My lessons & teaching style

My lessons are dynamic and fun. I use a wide range of methods and materials suited to your specific needs. We can focus on conversation or prepare for a standard test. We could work on memorization skills or dive into grammar. My goal is to make even the most difficult grammatical elements easily understandable. We could also explore writing skills, including structure and readability. We could fine tune conference material, including preparing carefully crafted slide presentations.
