Hello, my name is Liyema and I am from South Africa. I live in the city East London, which is also known as Buffalo City. I was born and raised here. I would like to travel around the world though. NdingumXhosa, kwaye ndiyasithetha nesiNgesi (English) nje ngomlungu. I learnt English during my whole school career and I also use English every day. I am studying towards my Bachelor of Education degree.
I have experience tutoring children and adults from my community, school and random people who try to hold a conversation with me.
I enjoy playing with my pets, watching movies, playing board games, listening to music, driving and watching those latest tech videos on YouTube before I go to sleep.Me as a Teacher
As a tutor, I will provide conversational lessons, where I will help you with grammar, pronunciation, sentence structure etc. Each of my lessons will suit YOUR needs and short-term or long-term goals.
I believe that people learn better in fun environments, where there is also enthusiasm and where they feel comfortable enough to make mistakes and learn from them.
I will teach you everything there is to know in the Xhosa language, from how to say colours, name objects, good sentence structure, how to say numbers etc.My lessons & teaching style
Lessons will have conversations where we discuss our interests, things that happen in our daily lives and also learning isiXhosa language. During the conversation, I will correct your errors and help you see your mistakes. I will also give you short tasks to do during the lesson and after it. Some lessons will include reading, listening, learning new words or the translation of words to Xhosa.My teaching material
