I am a tutor as there no opening for Japanese teachers on Italki at the moment. However, I passed a test, Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test last year which allows me to support your learning Japanese better.
At university, I was teaching exchange students Japanese for 4 years as a student learning assistant. They were from beginner to advanced level. As each student has different preferences of studying a language, I was making sure to adopt to their learning styles.
昨年、日本語教育能力検定試験という、日本語を教えるための試験に合格しました。大学ではラーニングアシスタントとして、入門クラスから上級クラスまでの日本語の授業のサポートをしていました。生徒のレベルや、学習スタイルの違いに適応して、日本語で会話することに気を付けています。My lessons & teaching style

Nanami sensei provides a beginner-friendly environment where I don't feel intimated, I feel encouraged to ask questions, try to construct sentences, read out loud, and be mentored through it all.
She is so kind and patient and I am looking forward to our future lessons ^^

Just had 1st lesson with Nanami sensei. She uses a news article to test my reading, intonation skills. Though hiragana of kanji is provided, smoothness of reading is key. I have a couple of doubts in the news article and Nanami sensei patiently cleared them all at ease using simple and clear explanations. It was a helpful, insightful and useful 1st lesson with Nanami sensei for me. Thanks.

Nanami was very professional, nice, and patient! I am a beginner and she took care to ask what I would like to learn and teach me simple phrases and vocabulary. I learnt so much in just one session, and managed to speak a little despite my very limited knowledge!
