About Me

Hello, my name is Joanna and I live in a small town in Poland. Before that I lived in China, where I worked as an Oral English Teacher in a public high school. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in the United Kingdom. I love dogs, so far I only have one and he is absolutely crazy and wonderful. I also enjoy photography, traveling and reading books.

I like to teach in a friendly atmosphere with a big focus on speaking and expressing your opinions.

My lessons & teaching style

I can create a lesson plan based on your specific needs. I always alocate as much speaking time as possible and try to choose topics that can often be used in real life situations. I am friendly and understanding and one of my goals is to increase students' confidence in speaking English.

2016 - 2019

Oral English Teacher, GAC facilitator Hengyang No.1 High SchoolHengyang No.1 High School - Hengyang, ChinaI have taught mixed ability groups from Senior 1, and Senior 2. I was responsible for creating lessons that accommodate the learning needs of all students. I have enjoyed taking part in lots of school events including dancing on stage at the New Year’s party and moderating a school debate. From September 2017, I was teaching the Reading and Writing and Business modules from the GAC program and I was responsible for conducting the assessments for these modules in line with the GAC guidelines.
