My name is Charlotte, I am 29 years old.
I have always been passionate about teaching. I studied Physical Education and became a teacher in France. In the meantime, I traveled a lot and loved to speak English. I also loved to learn a few words from the country I was in and to teach a few French words back.
Thereby, I choose to study again to become a French teacher!
After traveling for a year in southeast Asia, I needed to settle for a while. I now live in Bali, Indonesia.
Learning Indonesian langage is not as difficult as French but still a challenge !Me as a Teacher
I am a very patient person, and can easily adapt. I like my classes to be relaxed and funny without neglecting the learning aspect which is extremely important.
I’ll be available at any time if you have questions.
I'm originally a French P.E teacher. I complete another master's degree to learn how to teach French to non-native people.
I have a lot of experience, and love to teach! I have been teaching French for more than a year, and it is an amazing journey !My lessons & teaching style
The first lesson will be used to talk about you and the goals you want to achieve in French. Also to get to know each other and make sure we agree on the method that will suits you the best to improve. I will adapt my lessons and be there to help you get the highest French level!
I offer three types of classes :
- General French skills improvement : if you want to improve on specific subjects (written and oral expressions, grammar, pronunciation...).
- French conversation : to improve your conversation skills. I will help you with the pronunciation, and help you find the words you need.
- Kids lessons : from A0 - B1 - can work from a book or with games !My teaching material

Charlotte is a fantastic French teacher. She helps me improve during each lesson. She gives me homework when I ask for it to help strengthen my many weaknesses. We have fun reviewing it and she adds interesting French cultural points throughout the lesson. Sometimes we just talk about what’s going on in the world. Not a problem with Charlotte, however the Italki whiteboard was not functioning properly and we had to transfer the lesson to Zoom.

Charlotte is a fantastic teacher! I'm an English teacher myself, and I love the way she teaches. Her lessons are both fun and efficient. I've been studying French on and off for almost 15 years, and it's the first time I actually feel like I can continue learning with a teacher. I have ADHD, so lessons and homework are not things I really like -when I'm on the receiving end :)-, but Charlotte makes it a lot easier to progress. I really appreciate how patient and easy-going she is :)
