About Me

I am a native Greek, living between Greece and the Netherlands, currently based in Amsterdam. Since I was 11 years old, I felt a deep interest in classical and humanitarian studies and specialized on the Modern Greek language, Ancient Greek literature and Greek philosophy. My University years were a long study of History & Archaeology, History of Arts, Literature and Latin. I am always curious about life and humans, therefore I never stop studying and learning. In my free time I read, search for new ideas, dance and bike around the Dutch canals.

Me as a Teacher

Besides my BA in Classical studies, I have followed courses & trainings in Counselling, Management of anxiety disorders, Strategies for elementary students with ADHD, Teaching the Greek language as a second/ foreign language and I am certified Hatha Yoga teacher & Kids yoga teacher. I have collected experiences & knowledge from different sources, which I use and apply to my lessons. I love teaching, as I believe this is the greatest way to grow & connect with Others. From 2009 to 2018, I was Leading teacher at a Greek private school and since then I teach and coach one-on-one, anyone interested in bright ideas and ancient truths.

My lessons & teaching style

My lessons are a combination of Vocabulary & Etymology, Grammar, creative writing, reading & literature, speaking & speech creation, philosophy, a little bit of mythology and everything Greek. My lessons are customized to each individual' s needs and based on the art of authentic communication. Goal setting is the Alpha and the Omega for every new learning step. I give my best to inspire others!
