Hello! My name is Winsey and I am born and bred in the United Kingdom. My native language is English but I also speak Cantonese because both my parents are originally from Hong Kong. After studying Economics at University and taking on a corporate life for a couple of years, I decided I wanted a change. So I decided to pursue a career in my passion which is pastry! I took a patisserie course and am now a qualified pastry chef!Me as a Teacher
Having worked with a wide variety of people over the years, from CEOs to young apprentice chefs, I have gained experience communicating with people of all ages. I enjoy interacting with different people and I tailor my approach and language to the company that I am with. I am patient and love to see people improve and gain confidence over time. Firstly, I would like to know your goal for learning English, what you hope to achieve and why. We can work on your strengths and weaknesses which may include pronunciation, grammar, colloquial phrases etc. I offer conversational language practise, to build on your confidence and help you to learn in a comfortable space.
Ideally students should have a good basic knowledge of English. I generally do not give out homework assignments or provide exam prep.5.0
