Work Experience
2021 - 2022
Research Assistant University of MichiganLanguage and Literacy Lab focus on the relationship between brain activity and children (5-12)'s Langauge development, especially bilingual children group. The experience of data collection and analysis support me to know more about children's learning environment and their outcomes based on diverse learning styles. It supports me to think more about creating diverse curriculums based on students' needs and how to connect the previous knowledge with something new/deeper.

Student Teacher Scarlett Middle School & Lincoln Middle SchoolThe real classroom pushed me to switch my identity from a student to a teacher. I designed and revised my lesson plans based on students' different backgrounds to support them feel comfortable learning something new. Real students' reactions also strengthened my experience to arrange my teachings during the class rather than only following what I learned in the lectures/textbooks. Because of the pandemic, full-time remote teaching also enriched my usage of online technical resources.
