Hi! My name is Anne, and I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. Growing up, I spoke both German and English, and during my time at University I also studied French, Italian, Korean, and Wolof. I found language to be an enjoyable way to gain new perspectives on the world. I currently live in Berlin, Germany, and have often found myself putting these language skills to use in such a multi-cultural city. Along with language learning, I also love the arts - I earned my bachelors degree in Architecture, have played classical violin for 18 years, and enjoy drawing and painting in my spare time.Me as a Teacher
Through studying a variety of languages over the years, I have learned and developed study habits and tricks to maintain and continue developing my language skills. With my passion for language learning, I also earned a TEFL Certification, so that I could share my passion and knowledge through teaching.My lessons & teaching style
When it comes to language, I have always enjoyed studying grammar to understand different language patterns. While grammar and vocabulary are important, however, the ability to practice conversation with a native speaker is invaluable. As a tutor, I will help with understanding grammar, but I will also encourage you to practice speaking, even if you make mistakes, because this is the best way to learn a new language.5.0
