Ayaki

I'm having the best time learning with Ayaki sensei. Although I used to be embarrassed speaking in another language, especially in the beginning stages, I have never felt this way with Japanese while learning with Ayaki sensei. She's so patient and encouraging, and her materials are personalised and thoughtful, which adds to the class experience. I look forward to my class every week and look forward to building my Japanese in 2023 :)

Ayaki sensei is an excellent teacher. Even from our first trial lesson, she was quite thorough and well-prepared. Her lessons are well-structured and she adapts them to whatever you wish to work on, whether it's a particular grammar point, studying for a future exam, or just practicing conversation. I'm usually nervous speaking in Japanese, but with Ayaki sensei I feel quite comfortable and I very much enjoy our lessons. I would 100% recommend her.

I just finished my trial lesson with Ayaki sensei. It's my first time using italki, so I was nervous about it, but I already felt at ease when we started. Before I realized it, we were already laughing together. When I stuck with words, she was very patient with me. I already know some new vocabulary from this trial lesson! She also provided me with feedback and suggestions afterwards. I am planning to take more lessons with her for sure.
