Hello! Hola! Bonjour! My name is Ayanda Matsafu and I am a South African native English speaker. I work in the Tech industry, but, I have always had a passion for teaching and the English language. I currently live in South Africa but I plan on moving to China to teach English. I love eating different kinds of food, art, music and novels. I have tutored English for three years and I love teaching because it helps me connect with different kinds of people and learn different cultures.Me as a Teacher
I am a recent University Honors Graduate in Informatics. I have been tutoring English to students for the past three years. It gives me great pleasure to be able to join this platform in which I will be able to meet various types of people from all over the world and where I can fully share the knowledge that I have regarding the English language. I believe that the best way to learn a Language is to have a day-to-day conversation so that the student can learn how to use words in normal conversation. I believe that this is better than learning a lot of words without knowing what they mean and how to use them.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style mimics the teaching style found in a normal classroom. In teaching, I focus on speaking as well as writing English. With a language such as English, it is important to be able to understand the way in which the language is spoken in day-to-day conversation. I aim to help students to grow their confidence in speaking naturally in the language at hand. In addition, with writing English, I provide students with various writing activities that focus on grammar, punctuation and spelling.My teaching material

2019 - 2022
Tutor TutCo TuitionI worked as an English tutor for three years. In this way I was able to gain the experience of teaching and guiding primary school students (grade 1-7) as well as high school students. This experience will help me teach on italki as I have the experience of most teachers. Furthermore, I have the experience of teaching the English language, thus, I will know how to approach it in a formal manner. Lastly, I have experience in working with different types of students.
