About Me

Hi! My name is Daria. I was born in a beautiful city of Saint-Petersburg, Russia. I love languages and travelling, so for now I am living in Antalya in Turkey and learning Turkish. But here I met people from all over the world and I love learning about other cultures and broaden my horizons. Besides languages I'm keen on good quality music, art and literature. And I love creating things myself.

Me as a Teacher

I've been teaching English for more than 11 years. But I've always wanted to start my Russian teaching career. For now my main focus is on students who already made some progress in language learning . Конечно, к каждому своему студенту я подбираю свой метод и темп обучения, и тогда результат не заставит себя ждать!

My lessons & teaching style

During my classes I encourage students to use the language as much as possible no matter which level they are at. I find a topic for discussion that can be interesting for my student, which can be discussed prior the class. The main focus I try to put on collocations and spoken phrases to help a student sound natural as well as understand the natives. Depending on my students' requests we can practice reading and writing as well as pronunciation. But the most important for me is the atmosphere! I believe that learning a language has to be a pleasant and fun journey.
