Hi, my name is Jonathan.
I am 23 years old as of writing this. I am half Luxembourgish, half Irish.
I speak English, French, German and Luxembourgish (yes it's a real language :D ). I am currently learning Italian.
I am actively in university studying Engineering and will be continuing my studies with a Masters in Education to become a secondary school teacher.
I love chatting about languages, travelling, cycling, music (mostly Hip Hop), comedy and much more :)
I am a firm advocate of learning languages with the goal of using them in one's everyday life to enrich the latter. This is why I charge a lower rate to allow people to talk with someone in their target language for longer :)Me as a Teacher
As I am not currently a teacher, I will be giving informal lessons the goal of which will be to converse about any topic.
As such, feel free to use my first name and informal language (for example, the "tu" in French).

For our first lesson, once I have assessed your level, we can start talking about anything you desire. For beginners, we will focus on the most useful sentences that you will actually need to use when chatting in the target language.
I will write down the mistakes you make and send you a pdf with the mistakes (I will detail which mistakes are most important or most frequently made). If you ask questions I will also include my answer in that document.
My goal is to weed out as quickly as possible the fluency thieves to allow you a more natural and confident flow of conversation.

Magnifique! J'aime beaucoup les cours avec Jonathan car je me sens très à l'aise pendant la leçon. Je parle beaucoup et il m'arrête pour me corriger mes fautes.
Jonathan souhaite que la leçon soit utile à l'étudiant et il est flexible, du coup nous avons discuté de sujets de mon choix. Nous avons fait quelques exercices de prononciation aussi.

Great lesson! 100% recommended. We had a very enjoyable discussion on a topic I chose. It was fun!! Jonathan is very friendly and supportive. He corrected my mistakes and helped me with vocabulary when I couldn't find the right words. Jonathan listened to me attentively and gave me helpful feedback on my general level and my strengths and weaknesses at the end of the lesson. I look forward to my next lesson with him!
