italki teacher since Nov 4, 2022
My name is Eduard, I'm 26 years old and I live in Romania. I studied pharmacy and right now I work for a pharmaceutical company in Transylvania. Since both of my parents are Hungarians, I am bilingual - at home I spoke in Hungarian and at school and collage I spoke in Romanian.
Me as a Teacher
My teaching method is based on relaxed and casual conversations. We can talk about anything, your hobbies, your interest, your plans.
My lessons & teaching style
In my opinion the most important thing for a language student is to speak (!), and that's exactly what you will do during our lessons. I will try to make you speak as much as I can, asking you questions and helping you whenever you get stuck :)

My class with Eduard was very good. My level is around A2 and he helps me with my speaking skills in Romanian. He speaks in very clear way and appropriate tempo (not too fast), so I can understand everything. He is creative and good active-listener. Additionally, he is asking many questions as well as he encourages me to speak as much as possible. I recommend him to anybody.

1 Romanian lesson
Great teacher, the lesson was exactly how I was expecting it to be. He was asking me many questions on different topics encouraging me to talk a lot. With this method I feel like couple of more lessons and I will feel much more comfortable speaking in Romanian.

The lesson was very interesting and informative. It passed in a form of the dialogue. He asked many questions and corrected my mistakes. I'll recommend him as a good teacher!

Polnar is a very gentle and patient tutor and listens very carefully to what students have to say. He also speaks Hungarian in a clear and polite way to foreigners like me. I have spoken to more than 40 Hungarian teachers so far at italki. Based on this experience, I think he is a teacher worth studying with.
