That is probably best left to be described by my students, and they say that I am:
- very passionate
- patient and caring
- responsible and very diligent
- that my classes are relaxed and humorous
- some even say kinder things such as "I'm the best teacher" they have come across
Of course, there is the right teacher for all students, and sometimes it takes time to find the right fit. In the end, it is deeply inspiring to see students grow and develop better English skills and confidence.My lessons & teaching style
My goal is to tailor the lesson to a student's needs and in any way that can benefit their growth in a relaxed, comfortable and often humorous environment.
Often, I employ a modern "communicative" style of teaching that is practical and applicable to real-life context that is both structured and involves relevant free-talk to encourage some deeper development.
However, that is all dependent on a student's individual needs and I vary it accordingly.
Frequently, I find it useful employ a multitude of multi-media using videos, music, news media, pdfs, power point presentations and even sing occasionally!My teaching material
