Hello! My name is Alex, I'm from Newcastle upon Tyne in North East England and I have recently graduated from the University of Cambridge. I speak English, German (C2), French (C1), Portuguese (B1) and am currently learning Italian before moving abroad this autumn. My interests, as you can tell, include learning foreign languages, travelling and experiencing new cultures abroad, but I equally enjoy sharing my enthusiasm for my own culture with those looking to learn and improve their English. As for hobbies. I love to cook vegan meals, cycling, swimming, reading and spending time with friends! One place I'd love to go is Vilnius in Lithuania followed by any part of Scandinavia.Me as a Teacher

I would describe myself as a friendly, patient and enthusiastic teacher who is motivated to help others learn English which, it has to be said, is by no means an easy language to master! Having worked various jobs in both the UK and Germany, I have plenty of experience teaching a range of ages and abilities whether you be complete beginner or an advanced learner. I want my students to leave our lessons feeling confident and proud of what they have achieved since I know from experience that learning languages can be a slow and frustrating process that requires lots of encouragement!My lessons & teaching style
My lessons are planned entirely according to what you would like to achieve! Whether you would like to improve your listening, reading, writing or speaking skills, I have plenty of resources at my disposal to help you and we can focus on whatever you’d like. I usually like to structure my lessons beginning with a starter activity, followed by the main body of the lesson before wrapping up with some kind of finisher activity leaving time for any burning questions at the end! I prefer to teach in an informal and relaxed style so to put you at ease and hopefully have time to get to know one another as our lessons progress.
