I am an experienced teacher, as well as teaching English as a foreign language, I teach English literature, LAMDA, drama and classical/ESTILL voice.
Every student is different. I tailor programmes for each individual student; what are your likes, interests, passions and inspirations? It is my philosophy that we learn more effectively when we are enjoying ourselves, when we are learning without realising that we are learning. I aim to incorporate content that engages my students. I draw from video content, podcasts and news articles that elicit from issues, current affairs and topics that interest my students. I have some super engaging online reward systems for younger students.My lessons & teaching style
The road to achieving fluency and accuracy is through practice! I will incorporate many different elements into the lessons, including reading, quizzes, free talk, role-play, etc. My goal is to make the learning process as fun and interactive as possible. This is exactly why my teaching is tailored to YOUR individual interests and needs, and includes personalised content. During the trial, we will talk about your interests and language goals. Based on your answers, I will create learning content to effectively suit your learning needs. I really enjoy our lessons!

I had a great first lesson with Laura! I reached out to her because I was looking for a native English speaker to have conversation practice with. it was amazing, I didn't get bored, Laura was friendly, I feel comfortable when I practice speaking and during the lesson she was correcting my pronunciation. I felt comfortable talking to her and I'm sure she can really help me improve my pronunciation English. Highly recommended!
