About Me

I was born in London, England where I lived and worked for 30 years. I have also lived in Ireland for 10 years, and for the past 10 years I have been living in the Spanish Canary Islands.
My original Degree is in Construction Cost Engineering and I also have extensive experience of working in office and retail environments. I also have been involved in starting several business.
I have a TESOL teaching qualification which I completed 7 years ago and I have had a lot of musical experience including playing in a wedding band whilst I was living in Ireland.Me as a Teacher
I taught Spanish school children from the ages of 7 to 15 years old in a classroom setting for over four years and evening classes for Spanish adults during this time as well.
For the past 2 years I have been tutoring Chinese adults, business people and college students online for a company called Likeshuo in Beijing. I have really enjoyed working with my Chinese students and I have learnt a lot about Chinese and Asian culture, traditions and lifestyle. I have taught approximately 2,000 online classes to Chinese students so far and am looking forward to visiting China once that travel is easier again in the next few years.

a) Involve relevant and interesting subjects to you.
b) Be relaxed and engaging.
