Hello English learners! My name is George and I am a Canadian who used to teach English in South Korea and China. I have many interests including travel, playing guitar, and writing. I enjoy meeting new people and having interesting discussions on a wide variety of issues.Me as a Teacher
I have 6 years of experience as an English teacher, and 4 as an economics teacher. As a teacher, I really enjoyed watching my students make progress and have "aha moments," when they suddenly understood something. This was really fun for me.My lessons & teaching style
I try to tailor my style to what students need. Sometimes, that is a good conversation partner. Sometimes that is someone who will drill exercises on pronunciation. And sometimes that is someone who can offer writing advice. I have a flexible approach that is tailored to each individual student.My teaching material
